In users. Thousands: 1.000 · Decimals: 1,5 · Millions: 9m.

The answer

123,000,000 users

Roughly 123M.

Roblox averaged about 123 million daily active users in the second quarter of 2026, a number that would make it one of the largest social platforms on the planet if it were counted as one. That is down from a peak of over 150 million in late 2025 but still up 10% on a year earlier, with its adult audience in the US growing far faster than the whole.

How to get close to this number

Compare it to the platforms you would call large. A major social network counts daily users in the hundreds of millions; a very successful game counts them in the millions. This sits between the two, which is exactly the point the explanation makes — it behaves like a social platform that happens to be made of games.

The under-counting comes from thinking of it as a game. It is a platform on which other people build games, closer in structure to a video site or an app store than to a single product, and platforms accumulate audiences that no individual title can. Correctly categorising what something is remains the largest single factor in estimating its scale.

Two things about the figure. Daily active users is a company-defined quarterly average reported to investors, and definitions of "active" differ enough between companies that cross-platform comparisons are shakier than they look. It also moves: as the explanation notes, the count has fallen back from its late-2025 peak while still growing year on year, and an audience that started young is ageing — which matters, because the commercial value of a user depends heavily on age.
